On December 28, 2023, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy disclosed the Jagananna Vidya Deevena sum for the July–September 2023 quarter. 8,09,039 mothers and students got their joint accounts directly credited with the amount. CM released the cash during a ceremony on Friday at Bhimavaram in the West Godavari district by pressing a button.

With the release of this tranche, ₹18,576 crore will have been distributed overall under the Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Jagananna Vasathi Deevena. According to the government, funds were also being disbursed to 59,724 final-year students who had just finished their examinations or were getting ready for them as part of the Jagananna Vidya Deevena.

Steps To Check Status Of Jagananna Vidya Deevena Payments

Follow each of the following steps to see the status:-

  • STEP 1: Jnanabhumi Visit the official website.
  • STEP 2: Click on the login button on the home page
  • STEP 3: Enter your login details, enter the captcha code, and click on the login button.
  • STEP 4: Click on the VIEW/PRINT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION STATUS option in the side menu
  • STEP 5: Select the academic year for which you want to check the payment status. Regarding 2023, currently the fourth quarter i.e. July-September 2023 quarter amount is being released so 2023 should be selected.
  • STEP 6: After clicking scroll down. Near RTF will show your Vidya Deena payment status. The government will release your sanction amount in four installments per year. That means 1/4th of your fee amount will be released in each installment.

Note: You will receive the money if the status is approved, however, it may take one or two days for the relevant status to be successful. Thus, to see if you qualify, check your bank balance.

  • STEP 2: Open the link and select “Select Your Identity – Student”, enter your Aadhaar number, and click Get “Verification Code” and you will get “OTP”.
