Rahul Gandhi Interacts With Farmers in Sonepat, Haryana

Date:

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, released a video of his visit to the paddy fields in the Haryana village of Madina on Sunday. He also emphasized that farmers are India’s greatest asset and that many of its problems may be handled by appreciating their viewpoint.

Gandhi could be seen operating a tractor and sowing paddy as he spoke with the farmers about their expenses, income, and the challenges they face due to growing inflation in the video posted by the official Twitter account of the Congress.

Rahul Gandhi interacts with the farmer families in the 12-minute YouTube video recorded on July 8 during his visit to Madina Hamlet. He participates in tasks like planting paddy saplings and eating lunch with them on a string cot.

In Hindi, he tweeted, “Farmers are the strength of India,” along with a little excerpt from the film. The former Congress MP also added that he had met Sanjay Malik and Tasbir Kumar, two agricultural brothers working together for many years while sharing the video.

Gandhi was approached by a woman who requested him to show the farmers his home in Delhi. The Congress leader replied to her inquiry, saying, “I do not have a house; the government took it.” He said this about leaving his official home in Delhi after being expelled from the Lok Sabha due to his defamation case conviction.
