Indian Woman Anju Says ‘Returning Home in 2-3 Days After Meeting Lover in Pakistan

Date:

A married Indian woman traveled to Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area to visit a male acquaintance, and her story has emerged. At the same time, authorities in India continue to look into what happened to Seema Haider.

Pakistani authorities need to know that unlike Haider, who entered India illegally, Anju had a legitimate visa that allowed her to visit the Upper Dir Bala district and meet her lover Nasrullah.

Anju, a 35-year-old woman from Kailor in Uttar Pradesh, reportedly met Nasrullah, 29, on Facebook around four years ago. This is according to Aaj News, a Pakistani news outlet. The two were romantically involved after their friendship had developed for some time.

Anju has produced a video statement explaining that she doesn’t want her family to be tormented after the news went viral and people back home began drawing analogies between her and Seema Haider.

She has a valid passport and is returning to the United States from Pakistan in two to three days. She doesn’t want any difficulties this brings to affect her loved ones. Nothing happened by accident. I have entered the country lawfully and feel completely secure. She said, “I hope to return in two or three days.”

Media representatives were urged by her statement, “If you want to talk, call me, but don’t trouble my relatives and kids.”

Anju, a member of the Tera Allegency Society, and Nasrullah met four years ago over Facebook and quickly became friends. Arvind, Anju’s husband, said his wife had mentioned a trip to Jaipur in passing.

They spoke Sunday when Anju called to tell him she’d landed in Pakistan. We haven’t heard from them since then. The Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh is where Arvind and his family are from, whereas Anju hails from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh.

VISA application submitted under the guise of hotel manager

Anju claimed a profession in the hospitality industry when she applied for her visa. She was granted access so that she could attend a wedding in Pakistan that Nasrullah’s relatives were hosting. Nasrullah said the couple plans to tie the knot in the following few days. Following the rehearsal dinner, Anju will return to India before returning to Pakistan for the wedding.

On Sunday night, the police were alerted and went to Arvind’s apartment. To aid with the inquiry, CID and IB officers showed up. Since the investigation began, they have kept the press and public away from the apartment.
