With Eli’s blessings and financial backing, Jesse is able to continue working toward the Landing of Zion at the end of Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones. Soon after, Eli tells his kids the truth about what happened on Marsh St. and how he plans to confront Junior to put an end to the fighting.

In spite of the Children’s protests, Eli goes ahead with his plan. When Junior finds out the truth, he forgives Eli, but later reveals to him that he was not responsible for the Cycle Ninjas. The Cycle Ninjas plan their jailbreak for that night. So, let’s wait and see what develops.
