Tripti Dimri was recently cast in Aashiqui 3 to play the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan, according to sources. According to a source, Tripti has been the talk of the town since Animal became an enormous hit, and the producers believe that she will blow up the screen alongside Kartik Aaryan. After some period of conversation, the creators decided to cast her as the main female character.
The first quarter of 2024 will see the start of filming for the Anurag Basu-helmed picture, and more details about the cast will be revealed soon. After Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the upcoming film will be Kartik Aaryan’s second franchise film.
“It’s a new space for Kartik too, and he will be looking to explore the intense side of romance,” the source continued. “He has been a graduate of rom-coms and will now be switching zones to another world of love stories. He is also very excited to embark on this journey.”
