BSF Troops Shoot Down Pakistani Smuggler Near Ramgarh Border; 2 Terrorists Captured Near Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir
On the night of July 24/25, BSF personnel in J&K stopped a Pakistani narcotics smuggler trying to cross the border near Ramgarh.
The PRO of the BSF in Jammu told ANI that in addition to the body of the Pakistani smuggler, four packs of suspected narcotics (weighing around 4 kgs) were seized. The area is currently being searched much more thoroughly.
Two suspected members of the terrorist group LeT were caught at Chak Tapper Kreeri in the wee hours of the morning with a cache of weapons and ammunition, and a charge was filed against them under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Arms Act.

On July 19 at dawn, along the Line of Control in the Macchal Sector of Kupwara, alert troops of the Indian Army, the Border Security Force, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police thwarted an infiltration attempt in a Joint Operation.

Meanwhile, on the evening of July 18, militants opened fire on two-day laborers in Anantnag. Both injured bystanders were taken to the hospital immediately after the incident.
After receiving treatment, their condition remained constant. However, J&K Police reported to the media that they have roped off the area in preparation for a search.

Two contract workers were shot by terrorists in #Anantnag. The two injured civilians have been taken to the hospital, and their conditions are stable. A search zone has been established. The police in the Kashmir region tweeted that more information would be released later.
