Friday morning in Sydney, Australia, a gang of people who support the Khalistani movement viciously attacked an Indian student. The event left the student with life-threatening injuries, and he or she is currently receiving care at Westmead Hospital.
There were reportedly four or five Khalistani supporters who attacked the student. He introduced himself as a professional driver.
The assailants had made it to his car by the time he got there in the morning. They started by hitting him with rods, then one of them unlocked the car door and whacked him on the left face with a road. It was reported that several of them had recorded the event.

Statement from the NSW Police Force
The NSW police responded immediately after being notified by an eyewitness. The victim, who had suffered significant injuries to his head, leg, and arm, was rushed to Westmead Hospital by paramedics after being summoned to the scene by the NSW Police.

A representative for the New South Wales Police Force has released a statement to The Australia Today. According to the release, “shortly after 5.40 am on Friday, 14 July 2023, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command attended Rupert Street, Merrylands West, following reports of an assault.”
