On Monday, a pillar at the Chiplun construction site of the Mumbai-Goa four-lane highway fell, killing one worker and injuring several others. After this, a piece of the flyover collapsed as well.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt during the incident. The construction crane was damaged when a portion of the largest flyover in the Konkan area collapsed, halting work on the bridge.
People were seen scattering in all directions after the collapse, as captured by CCTV cameras.
