Kerala Blast Accused Dominic Martin’s Shocking Facebook Live: Labels Jehovah’s Witnesses as ‘Anti-National

Dominic Martin, the man who has been suspected of setting off a series of explosions at a convention center in Kalamassery, Ernakulam district, has gone on Facebook live to explain that he targeted the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses because of their “anti-national” beliefs. In the live show, he explained that he had been trying to steer people away from a “misguided movement.” The police have not yet established whether or not this is the same Martin who surrendered in Thrissur or the accuracy of the statements made during the live stream.

Please call me Martin. The Jehovah’s Witnesses convention was rocked by a bombing that left much of the building in ruins. I accept the whole blame for what happened. According to Martin’s now-deleted Facebook Live, he was explaining his actions by going live to explain his motivations. Six years ago, I came to the conclusion that this group was misguided and that its doctrines were profoundly unpatriotic. I informed them of the situation and strongly suggested that they change their behavior. Nonetheless, they have not shown any signs of readiness to do so.

This is not what I believe in. I am positive that this group is unnecessary in the current social climate. I plan to report to the police station right away. Martin said on the Live that more research was unnecessary. I’d want to add that it’s not okay for news outlets or social media to share the specifics of my bombing planning. In the hands of a non-specialist, this knowledge could prove disastrous. To wrap up, let me say this.
