Arrests and Identifications
Director General of Police (DGP) for Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, announced the successful operation and identified the arrested individuals as follows:
- Roshan Kumar
- Saurab Kumar
- Vikram Kumar
- Amarinder Singh, also known as Billi
- Arshveer Singh
- Sunny
All of them are residents of Patiala, a city in Punjab known for its rich culture and heritage. However, their involvement in a web of criminal activities has shocked the community.

The Arrest Operation

Teams from the AGTF, under the overall supervision of ADGP Promod Ban, swooped in on the suspects in the vicinity of Zirakpur. The suspects were intercepted while traveling in a Hyundai Verna car. During the operation, law enforcement recovered five pistols and 20 live cartridges from their possession.

A Patiala Double Murder Case
One of the arrested individuals, Arshveer Singh, was wanted by the Punjab Police for his alleged involvement in a Patiala double murder case earlier this year. In this gruesome incident, two youths lost their lives in April. The capture of Arshveer Singh is a significant development in resolving this heinous crime.
It’s worth noting that two of the arrested individuals, Sunny and Arshveer, had previously faced legal action by the Special Cell, Delhi.
