The court found merit in Dhawan’s claim that she coerced him into making her a partial owner of these properties or pocketing the sale proceeds.

“The respondent was required to prove that the properties were purchased out of her own funds or that her name was included out of love and affection. Thus, Dhawan’s allegation that she compelled him to make her an owner to some extent in all three properties or that she pocketed the sale proceeds thereof has to be believed as true,” ruled the court.
