As a result, a substantial contingent of law enforcement was sent to the area to restore order. Protesters were shown being lathi-charged by police, as shown in the footage.

Sushila Devi, a 75-year-old member of the Paras Tiera Society, has been named the victim by police. The incident occurred on Thursday evening at about 7 o’clock.

The Tragic Ending of an Older Woman

According to authorities, the woman was riding the elevator alone when its wire snapped, causing her to tumble. The elevator halted two or three stories above the ground. The elderly lady had a panic attack and passed out gradually.

Doctors at the nearby Felix hospital confirmed the woman’s death shortly after receiving word of the incident, and the lift doors were forced open.

Those who make up the society claimed the woman and her family had been staying there for nearly a year. She was making her routine descent from the elevator to the lobby and garden below.

The body has been taken into custody and sent to a morgue by the police in Noida’s Sector-142. Residents of the housing complex disclosed that Tower-24’s elevator had broken down numerous times, prompting repeated complaints to the building’s maintenance office. Residents chanted anti-builder and anti-elevator company chants in the community center.
